1. Physics

  • Motion: Measurement of length

    • Change in position with time

    • Observation and identification of different types of moving objects (land, air, water, space)

    • Demonstrating objects with multiple movements (screw motion, bicycle wheel, fan, top)

    • Observing periodic motion (hands of a clock/watch, Sun, Moon, Earth)

  • Light

    • Classification of materials (transparent, translucent, opaque)

    • Shadow formation (requires a light source and an opaque obstruction; shadows are always black)

    • Reflecting surfaces and how images differ from shadows

  • Electricity and Electric Current

    • Electric circuits (current flow in an unbroken loop with a cell and components)

    • Conductors and insulators

    • Activities using bulbs, cells, keys, and wires; building a switch and open/closed circuits

    • Opening a dry cell and experimenting with material conductivity

  • Fun with Magnets

    • Magnets, poles, and freely suspended magnets aligning in fixed directions (North and South)

    • Magnetic attraction and repulsion (like poles repel, unlike poles attract)

  • Number System: Different types of numbers, Kaprekar number, Kaprekar constant, Self-Number, Triangular to Hexagonal numbers, Virhanka Number, whole numbers, integers, properties (closure, identity, commutative, associative, distributive), estimation, rounding off, use of brackets, and order of operations

  • Factors and Multiples: Prime and composite numbers, even and odd numbers, divisibility rules (including 7, 11, and 13), LCM, HCF, and prime factorisation

  • Fractions and Decimals: Types of fractions and numerical operations

  • Ratio and Proportion: Ratios, proportions, unitary method, finding third and fourth proportions, and rule of three

  • Geometry: Basic geometrical concepts, angles and their types, types of triangles, circles and components, with numerical questions

  • Mensuration: Perimeter and area of 2D figures (triangle, square, circle, rectangle), and area of irregular figures using Pick's theorem

  • Algebra: Algebraic expressions, addition, subtraction, and solving equations

  • Symmetry and Patterns: Rotational, line, and reflective symmetry, tessellations, and magic squares

  • Cryptarithmetic / Alphametics (Addition & subtraction up to 4 digits)

  • Logical sequence series (number, alphabet, image, etc.)

  • Odd one out, Coding-decoding, and Blood relations

  • Binary logic, Mathematical operations, and Standard logical reasoning sets

  • Visual puzzles, Word problems, IQ puzzles, and Sequencing
